The Window Seat gives your dog a cosy, raised spot. We don't claim it is crash tested or certified as a safety restraint.
For added protection, use a car-safe harness clipped to a seatbelt attachment. Check your vehicle's manual about airbags before using any seat on the front passenger seat.
Travelling with dogs in Australia
There's no general law requiring a dog inside a car to be restrained, but you must drive with proper control, and it's an offence in every state and territory to drive with an animal on your lap.
Rules for dogs on utes and trailers, and for leaving dogs in hot cars, are stricter. Check your state's road authority for current rules.
